OUR STORY
Learning and Exploring
Our micronation originally formed in June 2022, and experienced various changes and challenges as it and we grew and matured as a team and community. In May 2024, myself and various officials officially formalized our nation as the Auguric Republic of Isturus and the Voiqila, based in Canada and the United States. Since then we have explored, learned and began to look at the world around us in a more careful way. As we continue this journey as a community and team, we are looking forward to understanding and visiting the four corners of the world seeking out mythological, environmental, educational opportunities, as well as opportunities to see puffins and ruins of the time gone by. As a micronation we understand and are ready to learn from others, share what we learn and work together with other communities and cultures as we all try to understand the world around us. - Ambrose Dearmad
Parishes of Isturus and the Voiqila
The territorial communities of Isturus and Voiqila as a unitary state consist of two categories, the Parishes (The Voiqila, Isturus, Vespucio, Elisaburie Capital) and their subdivisions, Villages (Apple Pond, St. Bede, New Strathrick Harbor, Port Elizabury, Alberminister, and Terramicita). Parishes are controlled directly by the Prince, or by officials handpicked by the Prince, with villages often lacking local governing officials. This however is not always the case, as the Lord of the Village is appointed to important villages by the Prince

Isturus and the North Sea Empire have a long storied history, with regions of the Auguric Republic joining the North Sea Empire in August 2023. The two nations have enjoyed productive conversations and close ties as Pagan ran micronations within North America.

Isturus and Atlia have a long history of cooperation, with officials from both nations serving as advisors or delegates to each other's legislatures. The two nations have enjoyed encouraging development within each other, significantly within the athletic sector.

Isturus and Elysium have enjoyed a long history of cooperation, especially in supporting the Kingdom of Aspen. The two nations have signed various cooperation treaties including the Treaty of the Northern Seas and reaffirming the diplomatic partnership in the Summer of 2024.

Isturus and Gosland have a working relationship as micronational monarchies within Antarctica. Despite the young age of both nations and their relationship working with one another, they have enjoyed a stable diplomatic line of communication.

Isturus and Obscurium have a working relationship as micronations with an interest in herarldic and East German studies. The two nations have begun building a solid relationship, with Isturus joining the Obscurium run Year of the Dragon 2024 program.

Isturus and Sphensicus hold a special partnership, with the Princess of Isturus serving as the Queen of Sphensicus. The two nations have worked in tandem to provide local development, especially in imperial and cosmic studies.
