Elizaburian Cultural Commission

The Elizaburian Cultural Commission, is a treaty agency under the Treaty of the Northern Seas, based in the Treaty Port of Wind Rose. It was founded in July of 2023, following the signing of the Treaty of the Northern Seas by the Atlian Empire, North Sea Empire, and the Auguric Republic of Isturus and the Voiqila. Its members are appointed by Ambrose I, of the House of Bainbridge-Dearmad-Fundy, the commission's mission is to regulate and support the Elizaburian Culture and her people.

Member States

The Elizaburian Cultural Commission was founded with three member states, the Grand Duchy of Appledore-Lutecia, High Kingdom of Cypsopina and Chausiatic Commonwealth of the New Somerset Isles. This was confirmed in August of 2023, with the membership growing and being reviewed in November of 2023. Following the November Conference, the membership grew to include the Oriental Principality of Lower Isturus and Auguric Republic of Upper Petrioam, with the Chausatic Commonwealth of the New Somerset Isles being recognized as defunct. Within the November Conference, the idea of observers was approved, with the Free Imperial City of Transaintecroix being recognized as the first observer, with the North Sea Empire, Atlian Empire and Tozarian Empire being invited for observership.

During the December Conference, the member states dwindled to include the Kingdom of Nordastira, and the Auguric Republic of Isturus and the Voiqila. In the modern day following the May Conference the membership of the commission includes, Isturus, the Kingdom of Nordastria, and The Voiqila. With observership given to the Atlian Empire, North Sea Empire, Kingdom of Aspen, Antonian Empire and the Chausiatic Micropatriology Institute. 

Commission Institutions

The Elizaburian Cultural Commission offers various legal, diplomatic, cultural and economic programs to its member states, and helps provide the member states with an easy to understand and developed program given the area of control, population and age are often very minimal or small at best.

NEPA

The North Elizaburian Parliamentary Association, otherwise known as the NEPA, as an organization which shall promote good governance and micronational ambition through yearly reviews of its members. Which shall also provide guidance and suggestions on how and where to improve in five areas, Diplomacy and Outreach, Cultural Development, Bureaucratic Systems, Legislative Progression, Commission Support. Furthermore, the North Elizaburian Parliamentary Association shall provide election monitoring and reporting as an unbiased organization to any member state, should they request it.

TEA

The Transaintecroix Economic Area, otherwise known as the TEA, and shall be supported by the other various economic sectors and organizations within the commission. The TEA shall allow for the free flow of goods and services in the following sectors for member states, within respect to international laws and boundaries; Agriculture, Digital Services, Education, Sciences, Consumables, Forestry. Each member state defines their own regional tariffs and other economic restrictions, however if the member state is a member of another polity, the polity’s economic restrictions and policies shall be recognized, respected, and be allowed to request specific exemptions.

BFTO

The Bay of Fundy Treaty Organization, otherwise known as the BFTO, The BFTO is organized with a central council running the affairs of the defense and military training of the BFTO. The leadership of the central council is known as the Secretary General, with the BFTO following NATO protocol for rank equivalence, and if possible command structure within the member states. In times of defense, the BFTO is able to request from all national governments of member states, and if applicable, the higher leadership structure for permission to form a single armed forces. The single armed forces is known as the Elizaburian Regional Defense Force, and follows NATO protocol, as well as other national protocols where applicable.

ECE

The Elizaburian Cultural Commission set up diplomatic consulates in both micro and macronational regions, they serve as the central location for all things relating to the member states. However they require a diplomatic letter from each member state which wishes to be represented by the Elizaburian Consulate.

FCX

The Elizaburian Cultural Commission has a currency exchange for member states, and is known as the Fundyport Currency Exchange, otherwise known as the FCX.

NGT

The Board of Trade for member state businesses, known as the North Gulf Board of Trade, otherwise known as the NGT, and is dedicated to promoting the interests of the various businesses within the member states.

TSF

The Transaintecroix Sporting Federation, otherwise known as the TSF hosts events and matches in the sporting arenas and stadiums already within the member states, as well as retaining current teams for the sporting programing.

TEC

The Tjekopinan Education Commission, otherwise known as the TEC, which meets once every year to define the curriculum and education programming for all member states.
